Giselle was lovingly created using flowers, leaves, twigs and other foliage from the earth. Most of her flowers were dried from a locally picked bouquet and the rest were collected throughout the neighbourhood. Her earrings are cut from eucalyptus petals and I trimmed leaves for her shirt, which curl when dry. Nothing is secured or permanent. Once Giselle was photographed, her pieces were recycled back into the earth and/or saved for the next creation.
