Edith was lovingly created using flowers, leaves, twigs and other foliage from the earth. Most of her flowers were picked from a local flower farm close by in Salinas, California and the rest were collected throughout the neighbourhood. Her deep black eyes were created with dried anemone centres and her lips came from a nice summer leaf, picked up from the ground. Nothing is secured or permanent. Once Edith was photographed, her pieces were recycled back into the earth and/or saved for the next creation.
